Support Coordinators
Helping Your Participants Access the Supplies They Need
As a support coordinator, you play a critical role in connecting participants with the right products and services. Supply Med stocks a wide range of NDIS-claimable consumables and medical supplies — and we’ve made it straightforward for you to order on behalf of the participants you support.
How You Can Order
You can place orders on behalf of plan-managed and self-managed participants directly through our site.
For plan-managed participants:
- Add the required products to cart
- Select “Plan-Managed” at checkout
- Enter the participant’s NDIS number and their plan manager’s name and email
- We invoice the plan manager directly — no payment required from you or the participant at checkout
For self-managed participants:
- Add the required products to cart
- Pay at checkout using the participant’s preferred payment method
- We email a tax invoice the participant can use to claim reimbursement through the NDIA myplace portal
What to Have Ready
Before placing an order on behalf of a participant, have the following on hand:
- Participant’s full name
- Participant’s NDIS number
- Plan manager’s name and email address (plan-managed only)
- Confirmation the product is reasonable and necessary under the participant’s plan
- The relevant support category — most consumables fall under Core Supports — Consumables (Category 03)
Managing Multiple Participants
If you regularly order for multiple participants, contact us to discuss account arrangements. We can work with you on streamlining repeat orders and invoice management.
Our Invoices
All Supply Med invoices are NDIS-compliant and include:
- Supplier name and ABN
- Itemised product descriptions
- Unit prices, quantities, and totals
- GST status
If a plan manager requires any specific information on an invoice, contact us before placing the order.
Claimable Product Categories
Most products in our catalogue fall under one or more of the following NDIS support categories:
- Core Supports — Consumables (Category 03) — continence aids, wound care, daily living consumables
- Assistive Technology (Category 05) — low-cost assistive products and daily living aids
Claimability depends on the individual participant’s plan and goals. You are best placed to assess this — Supply Med cannot advise on individual funding eligibility.
Agency-Managed Participants
Supply Med is not NDIS-registered. We cannot process orders for agency-managed participants. For those participants, purchases must be made through a registered provider.
