Comparative studies have shown a reduction in wound pain in patients wearing Biatain Ā® Ibu compared with dressings without ibuprofen (4,5).

BiatainĀ® Ibu is an absorbent polyurethane foam that contains 0.5 mg/cm2Ā of ibuprofen homogeneously dispersed throughout the foam matrix (1).
Usage
BiatainĀ® Ibu Non-Adhesive is indicated for a wide range of low- to highly exuding wounds. This includes acute wounds such as second degree burns, donor sites, post-operative wounds and skin abrasions: and chronic wounds such as leg ulcers, pressure ulcers and non-infected diabetic foot ulcers. BiatainĀ® Ibu is suitable for use in combination with compression therapy.
