Hartmann Cosmopor Advance is a postoperative wound dressing for maximum absorption at minimum rewetting. You can use Cosmopor Advance for postoperative wound management and sterile dressing of minor injuries, e.g. in first aid. Cosmopor Advance is especially suitable for covering postoperative primary wounds with high volumes of exudates. Cosmopor is an antibacterial covering for wounds at risk of infection. This self-adhesive wound dressing is made of soft non-woven carrier material and central absorbent wound pad with DryBarrier Technology which allows the wound exudate to penetrate to the pad but not be released from it – even under pressure. The wound pad also includes a wound contact layer which prevents the wound pad from adhering to the wound. This combination of high absorption capacity and extremely low rewetting permits the postoperative dressing to stay on the wound longer.
