Directions for Use

1. Using aseptic technique, peel open the sterile pouch and remove the transfusion set.

2. Close the rigid roller regulator (clamp) completely before spiking the fluid source.

3. Insert the vented spike firmly into the port of the blood or IV fluid container.

4. Gently squeeze the drip chamber until it is approximately half full, ensuring the 200μm filter is fully submerged.

5. Slowly open the roller regulator to prime the line (priming volume is 22.0mL), allowing fluid to flow through the 245cm tubing until all air bubbles are expelled. Close the regulator.

6. Securely attach the male luer lock to the patient’s access device and adjust the roller regulator to the prescribed flow rate.

• Storage: Store the boxes in a clean, dry, and well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and high humidity.

• Sterility: Supplied sterile (EO – Ethylene Oxide). Do not use if the peel-open pouch is damaged, compromised, or previously opened.
