Haines® MediCurtain® Antimicrobial Trolley Covers provide a user-friendly, infection-control focused alternative to reusable or ill-fitting single use plastic covers.
Used to protect linen or other trolley-transported items on manual or robotic trolleys, they are designed to reduce the risk of fluid or dust contamination during transportation and storage, while providing quick and easy access for staff.
In facilities with in-patients, regulatory audits often assess trolley coverage due to the risk of bacterial contamination and transmission. Haines helps facilities meet these stringent standards through the provision of a unique antibacterial, made-to-measure solution.
Features:
- Antibacterial, antifungal & sporicidal (C.diff spores) – Made with our Antimicrobial Medical Curtain fabric (Summer Blue only) which is treated with antimicrobial and antimildew chemicals – including nanometer silver – to inhibit bacterial growth.
- Cost-effective – Intended as a temporary product with a lifespan of 3-12 months depending on heaviness of use, mitigating the costs and risks of single use covers and/or the washing of reusable covers.
- Robust and recyclable – Made from robust, fire retardant, 120gsm non-woven polypropylene with heavy duty zips – 100% recyclable when zips removed.
- Made to measure – Two standard sizes available for common trolley sizes, with a complimentary Measure & Quote service for custom sizes (minimum order quantity of 5 applies for custom sizes).
- Made in Australia – Locally made with a turnaround time of 3+ weeks for custom orders depending on quantity and production backlog.
- Handy features – Available with zips for easy access, side pocket for documentation, cut-outs for trolley handles and ‘identification/date change’ label to monitor length of use.
