This range includes two specialized, ready-to-use semi-elemental enteral tube feeds designed for paediatric patients with complex nutritional needs. Both formulas are nutritionally complete and formulated with hydrolysed whey protein to support optimal absorption and gastrointestinal tolerance.

Nutrini Peptisorb (Standard)

Designed for children aged 1–6 years (or 8–20 kg), this fibre-free formula is specifically tailored for those who require enhanced protein absorption and minimal bowel residue.

• Key Features:

  • Optimal Absorption: 71% short-chain peptides and amino acids derived from 100% hydrolysed whey protein.

  • Enhanced Digestion: 46% of fat content is from Medium Chain Triglycerides (MCT) to support fat digestion in patients with malabsorption.

  • Paediatric Profile: Higher fat content with lower protein and iron than adult formulations.

  • High Tolerance: Optimal osmolality (345 mOsm/kg H2O) and enriched with carotenoids for antioxidant support.

Nutrini Peptisorb Energy

A high-energy (1.5kcal/mL) semi-elemental feed suitable for children aged 1–10 years (or 8–45 kg) with severe malabsorption and/or maldigestion.

  • High Energy Density: 1.5 kcal/mL for children with high energy and/or fluid restriction needs.

  • Improved Absorption: Hydrolysed whey protein (short-chain peptides and amino acids) and 51% MCT fat content for enhanced digestion.

Important Safety Information

• Contraindications: Not suitable for patients with galactosaemia or infants under 1 year of age. Nutrini Peptisorb (Standard) is not suitable for children requiring a fibre-free diet (referring to Peptisorb Energy).

• Usage Precautions: Not for parenteral use. Use with caution in children aged 7 years and older, and in those with a seafood allergy (Peptisorb Energy).

Directions for Use

• Preparation: Use at room temperature. Check appearance and shake well before use.

• Handling: Handle aseptically to maintain sterility. Do not dilute or add medications to the formula.

• Hanging Time: Aseptically handled bottles have a maximum hanging time of 24 hours once opened.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place. Once opened, close the bottle and store in the refrigerator. Discard any unused content after 24 hours.
